Itinerary

• DAY 1: ARRIVAL

  Upon arrival you will be met and transferred for an overnight at Argyle hotel , Located in Nairobi, 14 km from Kenyatta International Conference Centre, Argyle Grand Hotel Nairobi Airport provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. With free WiFi, this 5-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. The restaurant serves African and American dishes, as well as Chinese and British cuisine. • DAY 2: NAIROBI FLY SAMBURU

  You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or Nairobi airport and transferred to Wilson Airport in time for your scheduled flight to Samburu. Upon arrival at the Airstrip, a guide from Sasaab will meet you and transfer you to the camp located in the Westgate Conservancy where you will be spending the next 3 nights. Situated just outside Samburu National Reserve in Kenya’s Northern Frontier District, the landscape is dotted with mountains, wildlife, and a rich cultural heritage. It is a place of abundant natural diversity with an astounding number of animals, from elephants to cheetah and wild dogs to the ‘Samburu Special Five’ (five species unique to the area): the Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Gerenuk antelope and Somali ostrich Perched on the edge of a river valley, the architecture of Sasaab blends Swahili and Moroccan design principals in which the African heat is of primary consideration. Each of the nine canvas-sided rooms is over 100m² with private plunge pools and breath-taking views across the Laikipia Plateau toward the jagged peaks of Mount Kenya. Its position above the river naturally facilitates watching the herds of elephant that come to bathe below as well as a host of other wildlife. After lunch depart for a shared afternoon game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight Sasaab Luxury Tented Camp (Lunch, dinner)

• DAY 3 SASAAB

  Full days will be spent exploring Lewa with shared morning and afternoon game drives and other activities as per the camp schedule. Your stay includes, airstrip transfers, game drives, guided bush walks, camel walks, 2hrs quadbike excursions, fly camping (by prior arrangement only and can sometimes involve the exclusive hire of a vehicle at US$ 500 per day), all meals, house wines, house soft drinks, house beers, house spirits, laundry, bush meals, school/clinic/village/market visits and sundowners. • DAY 4: SAMBURU FLY MAASAI MARA

  After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airstrip for the scheduled flight to Masai Mara Upon arrival you are met at the airstrip by the camp vehicle , enjoy game drive enroute, you will arrive on time for lunch at the camp, afternoon enjoy game drives, In the evening relax by the pool. Later in the evening for dinner and overnight at Salas Camp – Game Package -Lunch , Dinner

• DAY 5:MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE - FULL DAY GAME DRIVES

  After breakfast, check out with picnic lunch for a full day game drive, The area around Sala’s Camp is teeming with diverse wildlife, from sweeping skylines to thrilling spectacles such as the migration and the immense variety of wildlife, there are endless photographic opportunities. Our guides are there to help you capture the perfect shot; simply tell them what you’re looking for and they’ll do their best to assist. You also have the chance of spotting the big five Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino and Buffalo. The most enjoyable part will be the hunting by the cats. Later in the evening return for dinner and overnight at Salas Camp – Game Package – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

• DAY 6: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE - HOT AIR BALLON SAFARI & NATURE WALK

  Pick up at the camp by 0500hrs in the morning for 01-hour balloon safari, soaring high over the savannah on a sunrise balloon safari is a truly unforgettable and magical experience. Glide silently above the plains and spot wildlife as you experience 360-degree views as far as the eye can see. Balloon rides are particularly magnificent during the migration, when you will witness millions of animals grazing on a green carpet below you. Upon landing there will be a celebration on bush breakfast close to wherever you land , our diver will do the pick up proceed with game drive en route towards the camp, arriving on time for lunch , afternoon on nature walk and bird watching which is arranged within the camp, this will take an hour , later for sundowner with a refreshing drink in hand and tasty homemade ‘bitings’, the Kenyan term for canapes, there is nothing better than watching the sun sink low on the horizon over the vast plains of the Masai Mara. Later in the evening return for dinner and overnight at Salas Camp – Game Package – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

• DAY 7: DEPART AND FLY NAIROBI

  Enjoy bush breakfast, offers the best chance of exciting wildlife encounters. Being able to eat a freshly cooked breakfast whilst doing it, later return to pack for check out then transfer to the airstrip for the morning scheduled flight to Wilson – Nairobi, upon arrival at Wilson transfer towards J.K.I.A for the scheduled international flight.
