This is the camp for individuals who prefer a little additional luxury. Governors' Il Moran has been maintained small and private, with extra touches that elevate this camp to the top of the safari accommodation spectrum. You will be our manager's personal guest, and he will attend to all of your needs. Only ten tents line the meandering banks of the Mara River, hidden among ancient trees deep in the jungle. Dark chunky oak tables contrast with big blue couches and a centerpiece, colorfully beaded chandelier, and tribal pictures and African artifacts are scattered throughout. Meals are served on the main mess and dining tent's high wooden decking, which provides a bird's-eye view of the snorting hippos below. The primary feature is a deep fire pit that is lit in the evenings - the ideal area to relax with your favorite cocktail. We do provide a variety of spa services that may be done in the privacy and convenience of your tent. Il Moran is a tiny and serene camp that is suitable for honeymooners and couples looking for a unique safari experience, as well as families with older children.
