The traditional and beautiful Bateleur Camp is located in Kenya's famed Masai Mara National Reserve, at the foot of the picturesque Oloololo escarpment (the rim of the Great Rift Valley). Guests may have an unrivaled wildlife experience here, amidst the reserve's incredible year-round abundance of animals, as well as the yearly Great Wildebeest Migration. Guests may nearly entirely explore this region on foot or via game drive, with access to exquisite outdoor eating places. The ambience and splendor of Kenyan explorers of old are reflected in the two tiny camps, each with nine Luxury Tents and a Luxury Family Tent; each with its own dedicated butler and maid. Enter a world of hardwood flooring, polished silver and copper bathrooms, and the romanticism of the vast Mara plains with their rich animal herds. The cozy sitting and eating spaces are adorned with beautifully handcrafted artifacts, magnificent antiques, leather buttoned Chesterfield couches, literature, and crystal and candles.
